
Satnam has over 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers. He has worked for a number of highly respected national and international operating companies and engineering design contractors, both in the UK and internationally, including; Norway, Denmark, Middle East and North America.
His career spans the full range of engineering and operations phases of Brownfield and Greenfield projects, covering; field development screening studies, feasibility and conceptual studies, FEED and detailed design through to commissioning, production start-up and plant operations management.
A Process Engineer by training, Satnam has held a number of significant positions of responsibility, including Project Manager and Department Head of Process Engineering with a major engineering design contractor. The latter involving functional responsibility for a team of over 100 process engineers, where he was also responsible for managing a front end studies team of over 60 multidiscipline engineers, delivering value at the earliest stages of the design development process.
Satnam’s key strengths include his man management skills and ability to extract exceptional performance from his teams through sound technical guidance. Uncompromising focus on quality and delivery are critical success factors that epitomise his management approach.
