John Wilson - Managing Director

A Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, John has over 20 years experience in the oil and gas industry. His experience is international and covers the entire petroleum life-cycle from initial feasibility and evaluation through to front end engineering management, detail design delivery, commissioning and production start-up and operations troubleshooting.

A Process/Facilities Engineer by background, John’s measured career has included being Process Engineering Manager for a global detailed design contractor, General Manager of an Oil and Gas Consultancy and latterly, Engineering Director for a FTSE 100 company.

A key area of John’s expertise is in the feasibility and front end engineering design of modifications to existing oil and gas infrastructure. His sheer breadth of knowledge and experience has enabled him to better understand the impact of decisions made during the front end design phases of a project and how such decisions may affect the project implementation and installation phases, and ultimately the effective operation of the facility.

As Managing Director, John has a clear vision for ClerkMaxwell and of how it can help deliver change for good in how the industry performs its engineering.
