Guy Cook - Subsea and Pipelines Director

A Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Guy has 30 years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.  Guy's career spans the full range of engineering and project delivery activities and covers the development of offshore facilities from conceptual design through front end engineering management, detail design, project execution, handover to operations and operational support and IRM activities.

A Subsea and Mechanical Engineer, Guy has managed a number of developments for international operating companies and held significant positions of responsibility as Project and Subsea Engineer and Project Manager for both new field and Brownfield developments of both subsea and platform facilities, managing multi-discipline teams at several project locations.

A key area of Guy's background is in the project delivery for both subsea and platform developments including the project management during execution, offshore construction work and operational support during production.  This experience of managing the project work and interface issues has enabled him to fully understand the impact of the initial engineering decisions and their effect on the overall development and its ongoing operation.

As Subsea and Pipelines Director, Guy has a clear vision for ClerkMaxwell on the importance of front end engineering and how it can facilitate the development process.
